PDA Specs - What gets noted & what doesn't

Stub / incomplete - expect rewrites, additions, & such.

Included

Variants

For now, it's a LG V30 exclusive. The X3N & X3P (Also, keep in mind that I didn't get the ones for the Chinese market) should also qualify having this, but they don't as you could upgrade their firmware by flashing the latest Xiaomi.eu (or Global MIUI firmware).

SoC

The part that's going to be bragged about, obviously.

Internals (RAM; storage)

You'd probably get away with at least 4/64, but I prefer going as high as I could (as much as I could claim futureproofing as a reason, I'm just a spec freak), to the detriment of my wallet.

Default filesystem

f2fs : faster than ext4, but generally less stable.

ext4 : more stable & robust than f2fs, but generally slower.

Check this article for reference.

Cards (SIM / microSD)

Second most important. MicroSD generally allows flashing ROMs without using the only USB port on the device.

Display

The part that users are going to interact with the most.

Camera

C/P'd straight from GSMArena. Mostly for the cameraphiles who salivate at that excessive 64MP tag (or maybe 108MP).

Speaker

Battery

Specifically, just its size.

Ports

The headphone jack is especially important, as fewer devices are keeping them recently.

Size (no case)

Since I always eject microSD cards for whatever reasons (app updates, games, etc.), I'd always carry my PDAs without a case, mostly because most cases don't allow SD card ejection without modifications.

Weight (no case)

Build

The materials for the PDA's exteriors.

LV / RV

LV = Launch Version ; RV = Running Version.

One of the additions that were added in respect to Android Booting Shenanigans page in the official Magisk Documentation.

Partition

Boot Method

Excluded

Benchmarks (Antutu, GeekBench)

Honestly, benchmark scores are only for bragging rights.

Screen-on time

Not everyone uses their PDAs in the same way.

Network bands

This one's tiring to type and/or copy-paste. Besides, since I didn't mention any telephony in my so-called reviews, I don't think I'd care about this.
